Tracfone promotional codes current as of 10-2-09
NOTE: If you are looking for a promotional code to be used when buying a new phone or airtime card package from TracFone.com, please check out this post.
Please refer to the “Adding Airtime” section of my $3 ebook (THE Unofficial TracFone User’s Guide) for detailed instructions on how to use the promotional codes.
To use the following table, first determine which card you are going to add, then scan down the “bonus” column and select the code with the bonus of your choice. If one of the codes will not work on your phone, proceed to look down the column for the next best code, and repeat until you find a working code, if necessary.
You’ll notice that I have included in this list some codes whose reported expiration date has passed, and for other codes, the expiration date column is either “unknown” or blank. This is because Tracfone seems to have inconsistent policies on the expiration dates – at times the codes will be valid well beyond the stated expiration date.
Finally, these codes are listed for the smallest card to which they can be applied. Most Tracfone bonus codes can be applied to the card denomination for which they are stated to work, or any larger card.
Also, after you are done using the bonus codes, please check out the other posts on my blog, which you can find links to on the right side of this page. You might even like to subscribe to receive free updates by email.

I do my best to keep this current. If you attempt to use any of these codes, I would appreciate hearing about your success or failure for specific codes. Please feel free to reply in the “comments” section of this post to let me know what codes are or are not working for you. Thanks!
Please bookmark this page and refer back to it as you need to. I will keep it updated with all current Tracfone codes that I know of. If you’d rather find them yourself, my two main sources are the Tracfone User Group at Yahoo! and Fatwallet Forums.
Also, as I mentioned earlier, there are more ways than just bonus codes to save with Tracfone and I’d be happy to have you check out my discussion of some of these topics by clicking on the links on the right, or subscribe to receive free updates by email. THANKS!
Thanks again Patrick for the continued effort and information.
I just tried the Family Value Plan promo code of 39644 online and got this error:
Promo Code 39644 is not valid for this transaction. Please enter a different Promo Code.
60 mins or greater promo code 14938 still works as of 10/16/2009. i used it wiht a the $40 200 min card.
Your services are very much appreciated! Thanks so much for being a big blessing to so many! Keep up the good work!
Some entries in the “Last Used” column need to be reformated to display a date format.
Used 53322 with 60 min card on 2/10/2008 for 60 min bonus.
Used 58287 with 60 min card on 2/26/2008 for 60 min bonus.
Hi John,
Thank you for taking the time to point that out to me. As most readers have probably realized by now, I’m still learning as I go when it comes to posting content on the web. So I can use your help.
The list has been updated to reflect most recently used dates, and to correct the formatting issue pointed out by John.
I also invite any other readers of this post to share the codes that have or have not worked for them recently.
54969 for 100 min. when adding a DMFL card verified 3/6/08
Many thanks to those who have contributed to keeping this database current. Thanks to another reader contribution, I have added another new code.
This from a Tracfone Insider email: “60 Bonus minutes will be awarded with the purchase and addition of a 120 minute airtime card or greater using promotional code 53050 by March 17th, 2008″
The table above has been updated to reflect this new addition.
Thanks, I used 50722 for 60 mins on a 60 min card. worked on 3-12-08
Today, March 13, I used the first code 50722 to add 60 to a 60 unit PURCHASED online.. Jolly Good! LOL , Now I will add more to a different phone which has automatic doubling of minutes to a purchase. I’ll let you know how it works!
Debra of Virginia
JOY! I Purchased 200 min, to my phone which automatically doubles purchased airtime..so for $ 29. I got 200 min, and 200 min, plus 60 free with the code 54626 about 4 down on the list, THANKS AGAIN!
– Debra
Bonus code 52267, found on the list above, worked 3/21/08 to add 200 min. to the 800 min. (total of 1,000 min.) on my 1 yr. 800 min. double minutes for life card.
It was the only code I tried. Lucky, I guess!!
The phone is a new LG200c.
I haven’t yet added this to the table above, because I haven’t heard a confirmed report of it working, but Tracfone sent out an email stating that code 58314 is good for 60 bonus minutes on a 60 unit card. The stated expiration date is 4/14/08. If anyone is able to use this card and confirm it to be working, I’d appreciate hearing about it here. Thanks!
Another update here that I’d like more confirmation on, if anyone has input. Recent rumors have it that bonus code 50722 is giving 90 bonus minutes with a 60 minute card. If anyone has had this happen to them, please comment and I’ll update the table.
Thanks so much for posting the codes. Coupon codes posted online usually don’t work for me but I purchased 60 min. of airtime using code 53322 (for 60 bonus minutes) on 4-24-08 and did receive the bonus minutes! It might help someone else to know that there wasn’t any indication that it did work until the last webpage that displays the purchase.
Thanks again!

I’ve updated the code database, inputting the most current dates I’ve found that prove a known code has been accepted by TracFone’s system.
Two new codes are worth pointing out:

56617 and 53322 confirmed working 7/19/08. Both gave 60 minutes bonus on 60 minute cards.
53322 worked for me today, July 20.
I also received an “expired code” message when attempting to use code 50722. Can anyone else confirm that this code is being reported as expired? If so, it may be time to make a note on the list above.

dude, promo no. 53322 totally worked for me.
thanks bro, you’re a genius.
I used code 53018. Worked just fine. Very cool. Thank you very much for the information!
I just added a 450 unit card and tried 3 different bonus codes. 55532 was expired, then 54969 was expired, then I tried 50566 (hoping it wasn’t expired) and the website accepted it but did NOT give me any bonus minutes. Do you have any idea why it didn’t tell me I had an expired bonus code so I could try again like it did for the first 2 I entered?
after two tries you need to totally log out, shut down your browser and start over again or it will take the thirs code ( working or not) I think they do this to avoid fraud, but I found this way around it
Sorry ’bout the typo ( third )
I just picked up a Motorola w376g at Sears for $39.99 today 8/1/08
I don’t know when the sale ends, I went in to pay the standard $49.99 based on the reviews on this site and was pleasantly surprised to see the sale tag.
Reply to Grandma M regarding 3rd bad bonus code entry being accepted without adding minutes.
Published instructions suggest you need to clear your cookies after each 2 attempts, some start with .trakfone other http://www.trakfone I would clear all, not know whick one tracks code attempts.
Update on code 50809 expiration date
Tracfone site details on Motorola C139 + 1 Year Card
shows “50 Bonus Minute offer ends September 30, 2008!”
your table show a 6/30/08 expiration.
( some older lists show +200 minutes for that code, apparently the times can change when a number is reissued)
53322 didnt work/56617 didnt work/54496 worked=…60 min gave me free 30 min…
You D-Man
53018 still active as of 08/02/08
Added 300min. on a $99.99-400min. card, $0.14 per minute
Hello, I have a 60 min and 90 days card. does anyone knows a vaild code for extra days only ? or extra days and min. I really looking for extra days. thanks
8/2/08 Used code 53322 to add 60 to a 60 min card ( for a total of 180 on a w376g with dtm) this was the 1st coupon used on this phone.
An annonymous post on another site suggested expiration date is 8/3
Anyone have any codes that work with the 450 card. None have worked for me. Just bought the motorola w376g, not sure if the issue is that the phone doubles your minutes. I’ve not found anything other than a plus 20 to work with the 200 card either.
Reply to Larry (and note to Jake): After trying 3 bonus codes and missing out (see my Aug. 1 post above) I emailed Tracfone and told them I found bonus code #56176 in my 2008 calendar after I added my 450 minute card to my phone and asked if there was any way I could still get the 50 bonus units. 2 days later my tracfone beeped and Tracfone automatically added 50 minutes to my phone!
So Larry, try 56176 … it worked for me.
Thanks Jake for the advice. Next time I will clear my cookies before trying a 3rd bonus code.
Note to GRANDMA M. I had tried 56176, but it wasn’t working. I eventually used 53211 and getting 30 free minutes. I had mis-read the chart and thought I would get 60 free minutes. Anyways, make sure you note the code you use, because they typcially don’t let you reuse the code on the same phone. We have 2 tracfones, and have found that codes typically only work once per phone. As for the customer support, OMG, the absolute worst support to deal with I’ve ever encountered. I think the 450 must be a new card, so hopefully bonus codes will start appearing for this card. The double-minute phone (w376) is an awesome deal, and on sale again at Kmart this week for $39.99.
Just added a DMFL + 81 year and 800 minute card to a new LG3280 – the 300 minute bonus codes were ‘not applicable’ to it, and didn’t take.
However the 200 minute – (Double minute bonus code) *52430* did work! I now have 1000 minutes on new phone!
Thanks!
Code 53322 gave me 60 bonus minutes with my 120 minute card on 8/13/08
8-13-08 following codes reported as expired
for 120 min. card 55532
for 120 min. card 58009
8-14-08 following code worked
for 200 min. card 56176
I discovered today that it’s a PITA to delete cookies for just one site in firefox. Turns out that there’s a firefox extension “Remove Cookie(s) for this Site”.
Of course, that only works for tracfone cookies – but I have 3rd party cookies disallowed anyway.
Oh – I used code 53886 for 50 minutes on a 450 minute card on Aug 14.
It worked fine.
Thank you I just used bonus code 53322 for my 60 minutes of airtime. I am also taking advantage of the deal you posted about the 800 minutes with the purchase of a phone. I would be interested in selling you back the phone I just purchased.
Keep up the great work!
Just bought a $99+tax and surcharge, 1-yr card/400 mins on the web. ***Used promo code 53018 and got 320 bonus minutes:
You have successfully programmed your TracFone.
Minutes Added
400 – Minutes
320 – Bonus Minutes
720 – Total Minutes
Service Days
365 – Days
365 – Total Days = New Service End Date of 2/4/2010
During the purchase process was told 52057 adds 200 mins to 1-yr/400 minute card, and exp (of 52057) is 9/10/2008
Was happy to beat that deal, thanks.
Code 50722 (8-16-08)

I just used the 53322 code to get an additional 60 min with purchase of 60 min card. Thank you!!
56176 is from Tracfore for the month of August….50 additional minutes on a 200 Unit card
I just used bonus code 53322 on a 450 minute card and got 60 bonus minutes. Thanks!
Bought 60 minutes of airtime and got 60 bonus minutes free.
Thanks
opps the code for that was 53322 it still works.
Shopko is having a 3 day (Thurs thru Sat.) sale of 120 minute Tracfone cards for $14.99. They normally sell for $29.99 so I thought it was a mis-print, but it was true. I bought a few today just to have on hand.
INFO MOSTLY FOR NEWBIES TO TRACFONE (concerning the codes game)
Anytime you want to use a code for additional minutes you will take the chance of three wrong codes entered or three strikes you are out rule.
Next time you have a code to use call Tracfone directly, 1-800-867-7183 and simply speak to a live operator who will manually enter the codes you give and there is no chance of being shut out due to the 3 strikes rule as they are entering the info not you. If there is an issue decline any further help and call back later and speak to a different techie. Seems some are better at their jobs than others! And for goodness sake search for the highest number of free minutes per code/card. I simply shake my head when I see a happy post about additional 60 mins on a 400 or 450 minute card! Most of you know what I mean so search out the highest returns for you! If you don’t who will? Exactly.
Tracfone techies will only tell you if the code you supply is still valid but they can not and will not supply you with a code that will work so have a few ready to use. Asking will result in you being directed to the official Tracfone website. Isn’t that why we post here and elsewhere around the net? Yes indeed and so noted. Do search the entire net for these codes as new ones pop up almost overnight at times. When you find a code that works do post about your gold code number and INCLUDE the minute card you bought AND the free minutes you received. Posting you have received an additional 180 minutes says nothing really.
When calling have your Tracfone info ready i.e. serial # etc…suggest calling from a landline phone so you can easily supply your serial number etc.
***NOTE: YOU HAVE 3 DAYS TO CONTACT TRACFONE WITH A CODE AFTER YOU PLACE THE ADDITIONAL NEW MINUTES CARD INFO IN THE PHONE AND YOU HAVE NOT ENTERED ANY PROMO CODE. I HAVE ALSO HEARD IT WAS 5 DAYS TOO HOWEVER I WOULD GO WITH 3! CALL THEM FOR THIS POLICY INFO AND ANY UPDATES***
Simple work around(S) as opposed to deleting this and that, losing maximum bonus minutes you should have thereby getting screwed over.
Hope this helps someone. All this is based on personal experience…mine!
Good luck to all…and get ‘em before they get you!
used code 53322 and its still working 29 aug 08
thx for the info
The following 60 minute codes are expired: 56617, and 50722.
Used code: 53322 on 30-Aug-08 @ 8:50 PM EST and it worked.
Thanks for the valuable information.
I am sorry that some did not have the same luck I did with the Shopko 3-day sale, but am glad I was able to help some of you.
I have a question for “FedUp”. What did you mean when you said “I simply shake my head when I see a happy post about additional 60 mins on a 400 or 450 minute card! Most of you know what I mean so search out the highest returns for you!”? I guess I don’t know what you mean. Could I have gotten more on my 450 minute card? I’m not sure how to search out the highest returns. Can you help?
I love this site. It’s a been a lot of help to me. Thanks for your efforts.
Code 53018 works!! on SEPTEMBER, 2 2008. Added 1 year card 400 mins + Double Mins + 300 Bonus Mins!! 1100 mins! my granny is soo happy. Thanks again Pbushx2!
Tried these codes today 9/2/08
60 minute cards – 50722, 53322, 58287 = Expired
200 minute card to get 200 min’s back 56471 = Expired
120 min card to get 40 back – 52901 = Worked!
Thanks.
The sale at Shopko for 120 minute card was not correct. I went to the local store and they had a notice saying the advertised price was incorrect. The actual price was $24.99
This morning, September 3, 2008, I called Tracfone to verify if promo code 53018 is still valid. Code 53018 is for 1 year 400 minutes card with 300 bonus minutes. Tracfone said it is still active as of today but would not tell me the expiration date. Thus I ordered on-line using code 53018. Results: Minutes added – 400 plus 700 (400 double minutes + 300 bonus) for a total of 1100 minutes. Days added – 365 total days. It comes out to about 9 cents per minute. I am staying with Tracfone and will be canceling my Verizon Wireless account. I just wished I have done it sooner. Wasted all those money all those years. It is important though to call Tracfone first to verify if any promo code not advertised is still active. Thanks to all you guys posting these promo codes, specially to Pbushx2.
Friday Sept. 5th 08, used code 52430 and got 200 bonus minutes on a One year, Double Minute card following activation of a new phone. Activating the new phone (Moto 139 not new but never used) was different had to add lots of codes, but it works!!
Code 55532 is expired
I bought a 450 min card for $80 and used code 53322 for 60 bonus min. I already own a DMFL. The math $80/960min=.083cents per minute. This is the best deal for buying minutes.
Compare
$80/960min=.083cents per minute
vs
$100/1100min=.091cents per minute
($100 for the 400 minute/1 year card and using the code 53018 for 300 bonus min)

What I meant is that you should search out a better return beyond a mere 60 mins on a 400 min or 450 min card. Search out here or google “Tracfone Bonus Codes” Look for a good return BEFORE you buy a card and then apply the bonus code. I hope that clarifies some.
Used code 52766 and got an additional 30 minutes.
Used code

Just noticed that TracFone added a new code:

I used code 55118 today on a 400 minute year card – We have DMFL and received a total of 1150 minutes, so 400 + 400(DMFL) + 300 (bonus minutes)
Not bad! Thanks!!

Thanks a lot!
50508 works (buy 60, get 60) as of 10/06/2008 on 2 different phones. Thanks much for your list of Promo Codes!
Rob
Corkey – If you are asking how to insert a bonus code when adding an airtime pin on your phone’s “prepaid” menu, then the answer is to add the 5-digit bonus code at the end of your pin number. The disadvantage is that you won’t get a second chance to try a bonus code if the first one is invalid. That’s why I recommend using the web to add airtime.
Thanx pbushx2, just what I was talking about.
Well the saga starts. I received my new W376g,went to the website and the automatic activation failed so, talked to a live person that I could not understand. Disconnected, reconnected, went thru the process again. This time I got a person I could almost understand and found that the installed sim card did not match my zip. So I am to receive a new sim in 3-5 days.In my dreams maybe. Then I’ll have to go thru the same s### again.
on 10/12/08 I added bonus code 50508 to a 60 min. card and got 90 extra minutes, not the standard 60 most people are reporting. This is an LG 3280 without any double minute features, so I don’t know if the phone/features makes any difference. I also don’t know if it makes a difference in the method I used to add my airtime – I entered it directly via the tracfone.
Speaking of which, on my LG 3280, when adding airtime directly, I do NOT enter the bonus code at the end of the pin number. I simply enter the pin number and then a separate prompt comes up asking if I have a bonus code, and it lets me add the bonus code separately from the pin. So, there are two different methods of entering airtime/bonus codes directly via the phone itself, and it depends on your phone. If you have questions about how to enter airtime and bonus codes directly to your phone, send Tracfone an email, and they should respond within 48 hrs. and tell you which method to use for your specific phone.
Codes tried 10/14/08 — no success.

Tracfone texted me code 56217 for 150 bonus minutes if you “Add a 1 year Card 4 an entire yr”.
Also a a web only deal at tracfone.com: buy a 1 year card for 99.99 and buy an extra 400 min for only 25.00.

Redeemed a one year card (400 minutes) followed by the promo code 53018 for an extra 300 minutes on Oct. 23. It worked!
The key is to enter the 5-digit promo code immediately after the 15-digit pin for time that you are adding. In other words, enter a 20-digit number.
Thanks for sharing.
10/26/2008: Just used 50508 on a 60 min. card and received 120 bonus minutes (for total of 180 min.). Cool! Thanks for supplying that code!
Forgot to mention I have a double minutes phone so that’s why I got more than the 60 minute bonus show on the spreadsheet above.
used`53322 10/25/08 worked beautifully
I used code 50508 on 10/28/08 and got 60 bonus minutes. Thank you!
Used 50508 on a 60 minute card on a DMFL phone. Worked, got 60 card + 60 code + 60 DMFL = 180 minutes. 10/30/08. Thanks.
Add Tracfone minutes online.
I added 60 minute card and received 180 total minutes (phone has a dmfl card) – code 50508 worked great! (120 + 60 bonus)
I also added a 120 minute card and received 300 total minutes (phone also has a dmfl card) -code 50508 worked great! even the second time.
(240 + 60 bonus)
Code 50508 worked for me with a 60 minutes card on 10/31/08.
Again on a DMFL phone so I got 180 minutes.
Thank you!
On 11/1/08, Bonus Code 53322 gave me 120 free minutes but it is on your list for only 60 free minutes.
Codes 56471, 53050 and 50508 showed as expired today.
I did use 57630 which was still active.
Tried to use code 58287 but said it was expired. It was a bonus 60 minutes for a 60 or larger airtime card.
Thanks
53322 worked for 60 bonus minutes on a 120 minute card. Thanks!
50508 came up expired today
53322 worked for 60 bonus minutes on a 120 minute card.
thank you!
I got a promotional thing in the mail today and I’ll tell you what it said:
“Add the 1 year card using promotional code 50900 and get a whopping 1,000 minutes and secure 1 year of stress-free wireless service to talk and text with family and friends.
-Offer exclusive to customers enrolled in the Double Minute for Life benefit.”
It also says that it will be valid from November 1, 2008 until December 5, 2008.
Hope this helps.

just used this one
One Year – 400 Min. 300 Min. 53018 unknown 10/10/08
53322 worked on 60 min. card today 11/7/2008
(120 total minutes)
Tried both 50508 and 58287 for 60 Bonus on 60 online today-11/8/08
was told both codes are expired
Today I had a 450 minute card and tried to use code 56471 and was told it was expired Then I tried code 53322 and was told it was expired. The website didn’t give me another chance to add a code… for the first time ever… so, I have sent them an email. I was going to add code 53877 which is good for 50 minutes on a 200 or greater card this month.
I haven’t personally confirmed this, but I’ve heard reports of both 58287 and 50508 working on 11/7/2008. Can anyone else confirm this?
Hi pbushx2 and pals,
Wanted to report that I used the 53018 code (300 minutes on a one year card) today (Mon. Nov. 10) and it still works. Somehow I ended up with an extra three months air time too.
Just bought the LG600 in hopes it can replace my PDA, especially if I use the memo for address and zip code in addition to the very rich address book, calendar, alarm, etc. Bought the phone and a one year card at Target (for $49 and $95, respectively) a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks for all that you are doing for those of us who use TracFone! In this economy especially, it helps a lot to save a few coins.
50508 worked 11/11/08 when redeemed on Motorola C139 directly from phone’s “Prepaid” then “Redeem Airtime” functions
53322 worked on 11/13/08: 60 bonus minutes on a 60 minute card (plus 60 minutes for DMFL w376g phone = 180 total).
First I tried 53018 on my DMFL 1 year card hoping to get 300 bonus minutes, but it didn’t work. (I don’t think it was intended for the DMFL card.) So I tried 57122 and it worked for 200 bonus minutes for a total of 1000. Thanks again for all the money saving advise!
Bonus code 53877 worked today (11-15-08) on a 200 minute card on my DMFL for a 50 minutes bonus. Thanks for providing this truly valuable service.
Are there any codes that wll add days of servce to a 45 day card?
Days of service NOT minutes of talk.
I dont need any minutes, I don’t use the phone. I just carry it for emergency.
Hi Al
Unfortunately, I haven’t heard of a working code to add days in a long time, maybe as much as a year. 57676 used to add 30 days of service with any denomination of airtime card, but as far as I know that expired late in 2007 or early in 2008.
used code 53877 with a 200 minute card and got 5o minutes free.
Thanks again!!
On Nov 20, I used 53322 on a 60 minute card and got 60 minutes bonus (minutes, but not bonus, converted to 120 with DMFL) for a total of 180 units.
53322 invalid on 11/23/08
54496 gave 30 bonus minutes on 11/23/08

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that your 1st and 5th codes are the same # (53322) and that code is no longer active. This list is a great help. Thank you!
Yep, used 52967 with 60 minute card and got 100 bonus minutes on 12/02/08. Thanks!
Dec 2 2008 used 52967 on a 60 min card and got 100 bonus mins + 60 DMFL for 220 min. 19.99 +tax for 220 minutes…heck yeah!

One Year/400 Min. card with bonus code-53018 for an extra 300 Min. on 12/06/2008
Tracfone said that code-53018 would still be usable until the end of 03/2009
Sweet!
I Used code 23444 when I checked out tracfone’s website to save another $3 off my order.
Tried to use a promo code on a 60 min card that we unfortunately activated 3 days ago. I was told 53322 and 52967 were expired. I tried to use 52766 and was told it is still good for a bonus 10 min. on 60 min. card,(until 3/2009), but couldn’t be added since my card had already been added to my phone. We’ll know for next card
Tracfone is offering the following (both expire Dec 16, 2008):
250 bonus minutes for purchasing the 1 year 400 min card – bonus code 90611
250 bonus minutes for purchasing the 1 year DMFL card – bonus code 45415
I saw these at their website today.

Message from Tracefone (pretty old) – “Add a 2nd airtime card & get 20 bonus mins when using 53390 by your service end date.” I know this doesn’t sound like a great deal. Can you use multiple promotion codes?
Hi J –
Unfortunately, TracFone will allow only one bonus code per transaction. Thanks for sharing your codes, though.
Used 53018 on 12/30/08 and received 300 bonus minutes on a 400 minute card.
Have just used promo code 14938 on 12/31/2008 and received 60 additionals minutes on 60 minutes card.

Hal
Just used 14938 on a 120 minute card and got 180 bonus minutes. No extra days unfortunately. Right now I have more minutes than I need and would much rather have a bonus code that gives me extra days…
Thanks, Code 41595 for 100 bonus minutes when buying a 450 minute card worked on 1/15/09.
Thanks Again!
I tried to use code 14938 to get 60 minutes free with a 60 minute or greater card and it didn’t work.
Thanks
Miss E, you already used the code with a 120 minute card on 12/13/2008. Scroll back and look at your reply that date.
You may only use bonus codes one time per phone.
The Code 14938 is good until 1/31/2009. (this is from the TracFone website)
Please remember the best way to add bonus codes is by using the TracFone website.
With Rapid refill there are no second chances to add bonus codes if it does not work.
If you have used all the 60 minute bonus codes for a 60 minute cards
Try The Bonus Code 62498 it gets 40 bonus minutes with a 60 minute card.
62226 for the 100 minute value plan still works 1/18/09
41595 good 1-19-09
Just used 14938 on 120 min card, rec’d 90 bonus minutes (1/21/09)
Used promotional code 14938 on a 60 minute card. Received an extra 60 minutes as stated plus my doubling for an additional 60 minutes and an additional 30 minutes for reasons not explained. So I received 210 minutes for a 60 minute card. (on 21Jan09) That’s 9.5 cents a minute!
I don’t know if it is a random amount or what but this code 14938, a 60 code, actually got me 120 bonus minutes. I only bought a 60 unit card.
53322 worked today on a 60 minute card and got me 90(!) bonus minutes on a non-double minute phone.
Bought a 450-minute card today (1/30/09) and used code 41595 and got the 100 bonus minutes. Thanks!
01/30/09 12:01pm
I purchased a 1 year 400 minute card and used Bonus Code 53018 for an extra 300 minutes total $99.99 + tax
I just used promo code 53018 on 1/31/2009 and had no problems with my 400 minutes, my double minutes for life portion, and had no problems with the 300 minutes bonus. For my 400 minute one year card I ended up with 1100 minutes and 1 year of service. Hope that will help others out with deciding which codes to use.
14938 got me 180 total minutes on a 60 minutes card on a DMFL phone today, so I guess that it added ‘only’ 60 minutes.
Thanks for all the great info. I just used code 41595 with a 450 min card to get 100 bonus minutes on my Tracfone!
Promo Code 14938 used successfully on 2.1.09. Purchased 200 units, and got 60 bonus units tacked on, in addition to DMFL, for a total of 460 units.
2/2/09 – Code 50508 has expired. Codes 53322 and 14938 both worked.

55118 worked 2-5-09
14938 worked for 60 bonus minute on 60 min card for a total of 180 on my DMFL phone.

23350 worked on 2/8/09
I bought a $19 card for 60 units. Today is Feb 9th.
I used the
60 Min. (or greater) 60 Min. 53322 Unknown 1/18/09
I was surprised that my 60 was doubled, and 20 added to it.
It was a double minute for one year, altho the year expired, the doubling was still working. Thanks for this website.
Sincerely
Debra ( same one of March 08)
Today is 2/12/2009. Tried to buy a $60.00 card.

Code 50508 — not valid
Code 14938 — not valid
Code 58314 — not valid.
Are there any Bonus 60 minute codes available?
Thanks
Patrick,
I have been doing A LOT of research. Currently I am a VZW subscriber. For 450 minutes per month I pay about $55. I’m not sure if Tracfone will be what I need. I do like the tracfone option to add minutes anytime though.
I use about 450 minutes each month. I plan on getting the LG 600 /w the DMFL card for $49.99. I plan on getting this phone because of a few reasons. I like the exterior display so I can see who is calling. Also I like the ability to assign ringtones to different contacts. That way I can ignore the phone if I am in a different room i.e. screen calls.
I plan on using the promo codes and I am building a spreadsheet to compare the different cards and tracfone vs VZW.
If I use the 450 minute card for the 90 days I’ll end up have a service expiration date of something like 2099 (just kidding but you can see that it will quickly add up). For every 450 minutes I’ll extend the date 90 days. Each card will add 3 months and I’ll only use two (with the DMFL)
So my question to you since you’ve been doing this for quite sometime and I respect your input. BTW I also bought your ebook and it has answered quite a few questions.
Is Tracfone the way to go for me? I do want to cut my cost down.
Thank-you
Marc

Hi,
Code 53018 (300 Minutes) on a 1 year (including 400 minutes) card worked for me on 2/15/2009. I was asked when I received the code and I told them “sometime in the last month”. Voila! It worked!

Successfully used code 14938 (60 unit card + 60 bonus units) on 02-24-2009. Thanks so much!!
Hi,
Went on to Tracfone’s web-site and tried to purcahse 120 min card. Entered bonus codes 53322,50508,14938 & 58314. All have expired. Tried 3 different times. Have already used bonus code 96886. Are there any more 60 min bonus codes out there??
Many Thanks,
Fran
Hi Fran
I don’t think there are any other 60-minute codes at the moment. You may have to settle for a 40 minute code.
Hi again,
At lunch today I am trying all codes for my 200 minute card, it continues to say, invalid promotion code. This is the 1st time this has happened since I have started to use your codes! Any suggestions will be much appreciated. I am down to 12 minutes on my airtime tank!
Try 57915, it should give you 40 minutes. Also 50751 should give 20 minutes.
Marc,
Many Thanks, the 57915 worked, now instead of 9 minutes I have 449 total minutes, 200 purchased, 200 DMFL and 40 bonus minutes for your code given.
Many Thanks again, have a good one!!!
Fran
Marc,
Forgot to mention, I looked at your entry of 2/13/2009, I currently have a LG600 phone. Love it!!! Still haven’t found the time, although, to utilize all of the whistles and bells the on-line manual tells me it has. I am sure you will like it if you decide to go with TracFone.
Take Care,
Fran

I just purchased a 400 min 1yr card for $99.99
I used bonus code 53018 and received 300 bonus minutes
I just used code 14938 with success on 2/27/2009. With my double minute feature I ended up with a total of 210 minuts

I just used code 96886 for a bonus 60 minutes for a 120 minute card.
Code 53322 worked on 3-3-09. It gave me an extra 60 minutes on a 60 minute card.
I just now tried using codes 53322 , 14938, and 58314 on the website with my 200 minute card. It kept saying I couldn’t use them and then the site went ahead and added my minutes without letting me try another code. So, I ended up with no bonus minutes at all. This is the second time that has happened to me. Is there a limit of 3 tries?
Hi Sherry
Yes, TracFone’s site will process your pin code on the third attempt, regardless of whether the third bonus code is valid. To avoid this, after two unsuccessful attempts you can cancel the transaction, clear your cookies, close your web browser, and start over again. Repeat this process every two attempts until you find a code that works. Also, now that you’ve had your transaction process without a bonus, you should still be able to call TracFone and tell them that you never got your bonus minutes. They will then ask you to re-read the pin number, I think, and then ask for the bonus code that you want to use. This time, have another list of different codes ready to read to the customer service person.
I just activated a 400 min 1yr card; used bonus code 53018 and received 300 bonus minutes.
Thanks for all the great info!!

Bought the Lg600g in Dec after finding your site by accident. The writeup was a big help and so far I am satisfied with the purchase and Tracfone service.
Also, I’ll put in a good word for your User’s guide – lots of time and money saving info especially regarding the purchase of airtime.
FYI, code 58314 has expired, but 53322 still works as of 3/24/09.
Thanks for the education.
Steve

Thanks for all time and effort that you put into this blog, I’ve found this site very helpful over the past few months. So, yeah, thanks again!

Used bonus code 41595 for 100 bonus minutes with a 450 min card.
Than you very much
96886 gave me 60 bonus min on a 200 min card 03/31/09
these are outdated, i recently purchased the motorola w376g gsm, havent’ used it yet, but am excited to use it, you have good things to say on it’s behalf- i was wondering if you can give me a quick lesson on the best ways to purchase air time, would u go for the year? what is the best route there, and can you tell me how much time is taken off each time a text goes thru or comes in- i am illiterate when it comes to cell phones i actually hate phones alltogehter, but in this day and times we unfortunately need them–and also, how can i transfer the minutes remaining on my old tracfone–how difficult is that to do, i have heard horror stories about calling in to tracfone, they don’t speak english and it’s a run around, and like i said before i hate phones–but i am sure i will need to contact them via telephone- so if you can give me some guidance i would truly appreciate that, and i have also heard when buying minutes, go to the website and do it that way, or should i set it up to where i can do it directly from my phone?–another tip–walmart has this phone all the time now 29.98- so, maybe post that as well- great info, thanks much
looking forward to setting it up later today, i have been using the dinosaur v190 or whatever the model is, old one, i hate it, can no longer text anymore for some reason–anyhow, thanks for the review and it looks like i made a pretty good purchase from what you said
Used 14938 today (4/4/09) and all’s good (buy 60 plus 60 free). Thanks!
Just received an email that bonus code 17236 is good for 40 bonus minutes with a 200 minute card. Supposedly expires 4/15/09.

I just tried 50508 on a 60 minute card is was told it was expired.
I used 58314 instead and it still worked. (4/5/09)
Never Mind! 58314 did not work. My DMFL worked and I didn’t get any bonus code. I guess I didn’t know that after 3 tries on codes that don’t work you lose your chance to use a code. Keep track of the ones you have already used.
Code 53322 worked today 4/7/09
April 7, 2009
Following bonus codes reported “expired”
53322
50508
58314
Following bonus codes WORKED:
14938
62498
I’ve seen it reported in a couple of places that bonus codes 57660 and 58695 are giving 100 bonus minutes when used with a 400min card instead of the expected 250 minutes.
Messages from TracFone:
Promotion code 59463 – 100 bonus min when adding a 1 yr double mins card
Promotion code 44828 – 200 bonus min when adding a 1 yr card
I just bought a tracfone to replace my verizon service(too expensive) got the LG600 with double minutes for life after reading your review. I used a code 58695 when adding my 1 year 400 minutes to the phone. I’m not sure how this works as I didn’t get your ebook yet as I was impatient and just wanting to get the phone up and running. Anywho on step 7 screen it showed the 400 minutes for the card then it said 520 bonus minutes and 425 service days. But it said nothing of the double minutes for life the phone was supposed to have.
So my ? is are those shown seperate or were they included in the bonus minutes shown so that I got it doubled and the code gave me an additional 120 plus the added service days? I’m new to all this and not sure what I’m doing. I’m assuming the phone came with 0 minutes and 0 service days. Just checking to make sure the double minutes for life is working. I’ll have to get your ebook and read more about saving money but I want to make sure I understand how it shows you the minutes on tracfones site.
Hi Steve
The 520 bonus minutes are probably broken down as 400 from the DMFL, 100 for the bonus code, and 20 for the new phone activation. And for days, you got 365 for the card, and 60 for the new phone activation. All new phones come with 20 minutes and 60 days.
Nevermind…I figured this out. Got a phone for my wife also. I used a different code and got her the 250 bonus minutes. It just includes the double minutes, bonus minutes, and 20 minutes of setup time all in what it calls bonus minutes. I’m not sure why we both ended up with 425 days of serive though.
62498 worked 4/11/09 for 40 bonus minutes on a 120 minute card.
53028 was reported invalid.
14938 good for 60 minutes on 200 minute card
Just used (4/11/09) code 14938 for 60 minutes free with a 60 minute doubled for a total of 180. What a deal!
HI tried codes 53322 and 56500 on 4/15/2009. They are both expired.
Thanks for all of the work you do.
OK, this is strange. I always come to your website and usually find a 60 get 60 free code. I was trying to add some airtime to my husbands phone and tried code 62498 (40 free) and it told me the code was invalid. So next I tried adding minutes to my phone using the same code and it worked. Then I tried to add to his again. No luck same promo expired. Anyway do you think it is specific to brand of phone? Mine is a 9.88 Motorola cheapy – his is a 9.88 Kyocera cheapy. Go figure! Anyway, thank you for all your maintenance of this site! It is great!
Hi Charlene
Is there any chance you had already used this code on your husband’s phone?
Yes, Probably so. I usually just buy a 60 min. at a time. So the codes are only good for one time on each phone then right? I have probably used all the codes listed then in the past year or so. Now it makes sense to me that they are one time use. That could be the reason some people think they are expired. When actually they have just used them in the past. Thanks so much for all your effort. You have saved us plenty of $$$$ over time!
Charlene
Try new bonus code 27076 for 50 bonus minutes.
58695 just gave 100 bonus minutes, NOT 250, on a 400 minute card
Bonus code 58751 WORKED today on a 200 minute card on my 376g for 50 minutes bonus. Great website!
i tried 53322 and it did not work 4/16/09
14938 worked on 04-17-2009
60 + 60 bonus
thanks
tom
I purchased 60 mins via the Tracfone website with DMFL and tried several 60 bonus min codes. I finally got it to accept 14938 for 60 bonus mins. When all was tolled, I only got the 120–no bonus 60. I called and told them I did not receive the bonus mins, and was told the promo code was expired. My argument was that “if it was expired, why was it accepted,” and allowed me to continue on to complete the purchase?
Usually, if the code is expired or invalid, it says so in red type. I then backtrack and try another (code after clearing the browser cache.)
I asked to speak with a supervisor, who stuck to his guns and kept saying the code was expired and no bonus mins would be added. He said sometimes, on expired codes it goes through, but the bonus mins are not added. I’ve never had this happen before. Are they cracking down on expired codes or was I just unlucky this time.
Anyway, great job on this website. It’s saved me tons of cash so far. Thank You very much!
Hi City Kitty –
The site is set up so that if you try two expired/invalid codes on a single transaction, the system will process the transaction on the third try even if the code entered for that third attempt is invalid. One way to get around this is that if you have two failed attempts at redeeming a bonus code, you can close your browser and start over again. This way you’ll get to try more code to make sure that your transaction doesn’t go through without a bonus.
58695 today gave 100 only min. on a 400 min card, NOT 250.
14938 Worked Today (4-23-2009)
60 Minute Card + 60 Bonus Minutes = 120 Total!!!
Thanks Everybody!
4/22/09 – Just tried code 53322, 50508 and 58314, didn’t work. Gave me a message that they had expired.
I just used 14938 an it worked!!!!!!!!!! Thank you! That is so great that this web site is available.
60 min card 60 bonus minutes used 14938 4/25/09
Just got this text message:
Add a 1 year card, use code 12587 for 200 bonus minutes
FYI – I tried to use bonus codes 41595 and 58695 when adding a 450 minute card and both of them were expired (or maybe invalid for the 450 minute card … I am not sure which). I finally got bonus code 58751 to work and it gave me 50 extra minutes.
Thank you!!!
? Any 300 minute codes for 400 minutes one year?
The chart should make it easier to find codes NOT more difficult. If I have to make my own chart to see what’s going on, there’s a problem with the chart. What good are the expired codes for?
Hello all, does anybody knows the bonus code for extra days ? I don’t need more time, i only need more days because i hardly use the phone. Just for emergency. Let me know. Thanks
Hi Al
There haven’t been any codes for extra days for over a year now. I know there would be some demand for such a code, but it seems like TracFone doesn’t want to give out free days. One thing you can do is to buy a 60-minute card through TracFone’s website, and choose the option of an additional year for $49.99 more. The total will be $69.98, and you will get 1 year, three months of service and 60 minutes plus whatever bonus code you can use plus DMFL, if your phone has it.

JUST WONDERING ABOUT NET 10 PROMO CODES
If you’re wondering about Net10 promo codes for minutes, they don’t exist. If you’re trying to save money on a phone order from Net10, they’re currently offering free shipping on all orders, a $5 discount with promotional code 44477 and $3 off with code 34567.
Check this link to see what’s available at Net10.com.
May 2- I just added a 450 minute card to my phone, but they refused the 58751 bonus. They did let me use a 93018 bonus for the extra 50 minutes, though.
May 3,2009 Just used the promo code 93018 supplied by Sherry and it worked. The 58751 doesn’t. I tried it first and it said it expired, so I stop by the site and saw Sherry’s post. I gave it a try and viola 450 min’s plus 50 bonus min’s. This is a really awesome site. Glad you thought of it Patrick.
Just used bonus code 27076 (5-3-2009) and received 50 minutes on a 60 minute (or greater) card. Keep up the good work!
14938 worked for adding 60 bonus minutes on a 120 card.
I just tried 58751 on a 450 minute/90 day card and it said it was expired.
Just successfully used 60-minute +60 minute code 14938 … thanks! 5-6-2009
Just used 27076 for 50 minutes on a 60 minute card today, 5/7/09.
I know Patrick in on vacation this week but this is Today’s Special at HSN today.
HSN has a Tracfone deal for Today’s Special.
The new Samsung T301g slider with options for $99.90 + tax w/ free shipping.
This package includes the phone with home charger & optional car charger.
Bluetooth headset with car charger and charger case.
And a 1 year 400 minute airtime card which will double to 800 minutes because the phone has the double minutes for life added at the time of activation.
Phone is regular priced at $49.99 from tracfone and the airtime card sells for $99.99. The bluetooth headset and optional car charger would be at least a $30 value.
Bundle price is less than the regular price of just the airtime card. Like getting the phone and the accessories for free.
TODAY ONLY
I just used bonus code 26384 and got 50 bonus minutes on a 200 minute card. Thanks!
Used code 14938 on a 200 Minute Card! Bonus 60 MINS! 260 MINS and if your phone has the Double Minutes, its 460!!! Thanks Again Pbushx2! (5/9/09)
I did this same deal with my husbands phone – I bought the DMFL card for $24.99 and then the 200 minutes plus the bonus 60 minutes and only spent $69.37 for 460 minutes. If you already had the DMFL (double minutes for Life) then it would be even less! What a great resource this web site is!
14938 used 5/09/09
Thanks much! I just used the 14938 code (on 5-13-09) to add a 60-minute airtime card to my DMFL Moto 376g via Tracfone’s website. I ended up with 180 minutes total: 60 from the airtime card, 60 from the DMFL bonus, and 60 from the promotional code. Can’t beat that!
A couple of codes I don’t see here:
12336 250 bonus minutes on a 1 year card. Claims to expire on 5/12/09. I used it 5/9/09 and it worked.
43665 50 bonus minutes on a 200 minute card. I didn’t try it.
Use Code 21191 for 250 bonus minutes on a 400 minute, one-year card.
14938 used 5/20/2009 with a 200 minuted card on my Moto W376g and received 60 bonus minutes! The 200 was doubled for a total of 460 minutes! ( not a bad deal for 39.99…8 1/2 cents a minute) Bought on phone using airtime on demand. worked flawlessly( and saved me sales tax too! )
Thanx again!
26384 worked for 50 bonus minutes.
Thanks
16142 worked for 250 bonus on a 400 unit, 1 year card.
27076 still works, got 55 bonus mins. on a 60 minute card
5/23/09
Promo Code 14938 works for 60 minutes w/bonus 60 minutes.
5/27/09
I learned two valuable lessons today:
1. Follow Patrick’s directions in the wonderful $3 [money saving] manual. Namely, how to add time, NOT from the phone!
2. TracFone is still a pretty good company at correcting and satisfying. So, I wrote them a short note telling them that I failed to get my bonus minutes.
They wrote back asking for the prono code, I told them 81217; they sent me a series of numnbers and instructions, and lo, I have my 200 bonus units on my 800 minute DMFL one year card.
It works! Thanks again for a great service.
GeeBee
Hi again Gentle Ben
I responded to your previous comment, where you explained the problem, before I realized you had already resolved the issue. Anyway, that’s great that you were able to do it by email. And, thanks for the endorsement. I really appreciate it!
On 05-28-09, I used code 14938 on a DMFL Moto W376 Tracfone to obtain 60 bonus minutes on a 60-minute card for a total of 180 additional minutes.
(This is a different phone from the one to which I had added minutes on 5/13 using the same code, as described in a comment above.)
Thanks again!
05-28-09, I also used code 14938 on my DMFL Moto W376g Tracfone and got 60 bonus minutes on a 60-minute card for a total of 180 minutes.
This site is great.
Thank you very much!
57122 did NOT work, but 81727 DID work for 200 extra minutes!
Just got a 120 min card but don’t see any bonus codes for ot=anyone have some?
George, I believe that many of the codes that are good on the 60-minute cards also work for 120.
Tried code 62498 today, 20 minutes on 60 mins card. Expired.
Used code 14938 bought 60 minutes and got 90 add’l bonus minutes on 6/5/09
Used 14938 on 6/6/09
Used 14938 on 6/08/09 and got 60 bonus minutes.
Thanks!!
Bought 60 minutes received 90 bonus minutes. Thanks!
Used code 26384 on 200Mins Card 50 Extra Mins!! Thanks Again Pbushx2! 6/13/09
Just used 14938 worked on 06-13-2009
120 + 60 bonus!
Thanks Pbushx2!!!
Same as Buddha and Anna above, but on 6/13. Thank you, pbush!
Used code 43665 with 120 minute card for 50 bonus minutes and used code 27076 with 200 minute card for 50 bonus minutes.
Used 14938 on 6/15/09 and recieved 180 total minutes with a 60 min web purchase.
Just (6-17-09) used 14938 with a 60 min card when activating a new dmfl phone and ended up with 200 minutes and an 11-14-09 exp. date.
Thank you!!!
used promo code 14938 with 60 minute card (already had double minutes on phone) – received 60 bonus minutes for a total of 180 minutes.
6/17/2009 Code 14938 still gives 60 extra miniutes on a 60 minute (90 day) card. But you don’t know it until after they have your money! So the 1/31/2009 expiration is increasingly inaccurate.
used promo code 14938 with 120 minute card (already had double minutes on phone) – received 60 bonus minutes for a total of 300 minutes. $0.10 a minute + 90 days service and I used to pay almost $40 per month for 300 minutes per month! DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!!!!!
I used code 14938 today and received the bonus 60 minutes. Thanks!
Tracfone customer service has to be the worst customer service in the world. Bought a new w376 two months ago. They ended up having to send me a new sim card because the phone did not work properly. That did not solve the problem so then they sent me a replacment phone. Upon activating it the rep screwed up some number ( phone number maybe?) and the sim card could not be fixed over the phone. Now they are trying to send me another simcard. All this is because they keep making mistakes when activating it. I speak slowly and clearly to them. I understand the process. Get this. They shipped the first sim card to the right address. The replacement phone as well. They shipped the replacement sim card ( the one the rep screwed up ) to the wrong address…..What the ??? Now I have to wait another 5 days. Hope they get it right this time…..My advice…If you have a working tracfone, do not, under any circumstances ( and I mean NEVER )upgrade or change phones. Oh yeah and do not let it expire!( that is a whole nother story ) Did I mention I have been keeping trac of the time spent with customer service on the new phone I purchased? 7 HOURS and 12 MINUTES SO FAR. And I am not done yet!
Wow, that sounds awful. I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve had such a problem. It sounds like it’s time for me to publish an article about completing a transfer from one TracFone to a new handset. I’ve previously published links to different resources on the topic, but never actually put together my own article. I guess I’ll have to do so, and hopefully it will save people headaches like you’ve experienced.
Thanx. Got the new phone working. Everything works great now….EXCEPT THE BLUETOOTH! It worked fine on the first phone. this phone wont pick it up. I actually tried my friends also. Wouldn’t find it either. Go figure. It is a samsung WP101. Any sugestions. They want to send me another replacement if it is not working in 48 hours. Both phones are identical.
Successfully used the 20-min bonus code 62627 when adding a 60-min card on 6/26/09.
sorry samsung wep 301
Three times during June (the last time being yesterday), I added a 1 year card to a family member’s tracfone. Each time I used code 21191 for 250 free bonus units and it worked each time. Thanks!
Just received another email that bonus code 17236 is good for 40 bonus minutes with a 200 minute card. I first received this email in early April, when I was told it expired 4/15/09. Guess not!
I tried 62498 today on was told it was expired.
Just used 14938 with a 450/90 card and got my DMFL minutes + the 60 minute bonus from the code. 7/6/09 @ 11:04a Eastern. Thanks!
Used 14938 on 60 minute card today and received 60 bonus minutes. Thank you.
FWIW, I just (July 6, 2009) successfully used the promo code 14938 when adding a 60 minute card to my Motorola W376g. I had 110 units before adding. The double-for-life gave me 120 units from my 60 unit card. The promo code gave me an additional 60 units for a grand total of 180 units added for the cost of 60 and an airtime tank with 290 units. Good deal! By the way, I love the W376g ear volume. I was using a Nokia 1100 which I could hardly hear even when set to highest volume.
Successfully used 14938 on two W376 phones today. Gave me 60 bonus minutes for a total of 180 minutes on a 60 minute card. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
43665 was good for 50 minute bonus on a 450 minute card
I attempted to use promo code #27076 on a 60 min card and it was not accepted on 7-11-09. It did however accept code #62627 (20min) and that is better than nothing.
Thanks for all your help and advice.
Stan S.
I used 93018 code on a 450 unit card. The phone had a DMFL card used on it the during the last recharge. The 93018 bonus code gave me 80 units, not 50.
I just found code 79570, which adds 30 bonus minutes when you redeem a 60-minute card.
60 Min. (or greater) 60 Min. 14938 worked for me today 7/16/09
14938 is good as of july 17
93018 worked for a 450 minute card today, 7/17/09
Today I used 14938 on a 200 minute card on a phone that’s supposedly giving me double minutes for life, but it hasn’t so far. When I got the minutes, it gave me 400, which is AWESOME, but either no double, or the bonus changed from 60 to 200. Any thoughts?
Hi Stioux –
to me it sounds like you DID get double minutes, but NOT the promo code minutes. I guess the only way to find out for sure is to see what happens the next time you add airtime…
Wait a minute, Stioux, that was a bone-headed response on my part. I just remembered that there is a way to check if your phone has DMFL:
http://thejmart.com/dmtest.htm
I have the Motorola W376g phone, which is supposed to have DMFL?
Code 14938 worked 7/18/09. Have DMFL so I got 60 + 60 + 60 units for a total of 180. Not bad for 20 bucks!
Code 14938 worked 7/19/09. I also have DMFL so I got 60 + 60 + 60 units for a total of 180 for $20.
I tried to add the minutes using the prepaid menu on the phone, but the minutes never appeared on my phone. A quick call to tech support where I gave the rep my serial, card PIN and the 14938 promo code and she took care of everything. It was an extremely pleasant customer service experience.
Just a heads up – my phone asked if I had a promo code right after I entered the prepaid card’s PIN. I said YES and it gave me a place to enter it.
I bought my W376g at Big Lots for $15 with DMFL (it said reconditioned, but believe me, it’s brand new). Everything seems to work fine. They also have V170’s for $10, and C139’s for $8. Prices for airtime cards seems identical to Walmart’s prices.
USB Charging – I loaded the Motorola USB cable charging driver and it charges just fine.
Bluetooth – I had no problems pairing it to my Plantronics 320 bluetooth headset or my laptop but as most of you already know, the PC serial connection via bluetooth is basically useless.
Battery Life – seems ok, but I turn off the bluetooth radio when I’m not using it. If you leave it on, I bet the battery runs down a lot quicker.
Total cost I have into it so far is $35 – less than what I was paying for just one month on Sprint.
I can confirm that 55698 worked for me, while 27076 and 62627 have expired.
~Kyle
Forgot to mention that I used code 55698 which gave me 10 free minutes on a 60 minute card. I thought it said free 20 but I only got 10. Thanks
Just used code 45639 and got 30 minutes free on a 120 card.
Thanks a lot
Just an FYI that code 27076 has expired for 50 bonus minutes with a 60 minute or higher card.
62627 worked for 20 extra minutes on 60 minute card on 7/22/09. Tried all the other codes for 30, 40, 50 and 60 extra minutes without success.
7/23/2009 used 14938
bonus codes no longer good are 71066-30 59292-40 14938-60 27076-50 as of 7/23/09
I had been managing to make too many “butt” calls with my old Nokia. So, Mom gave me a new Motorola W260g for Christmas last year. Renewed for another year today, using code 84232 for 250 bonus minutes.
My fifth year with Tracfone. What an incredible value!!
Also, sincere THANKS!!!! to pbushx2 for this website.
Dean – thanks for taking the time to post. I’m glad your “butt” isn’t costing you minutes any more, LOL!
1-year-400min:250bonus code: 12336 worked 7/24/2009
Promo code 14938 worked for me today, 7/27/2009, on a 60 minute card. With my Double minutes for life I got a total of 180 minutes plus 90 days service. Thanks for the codes!
Ron
I used this bonus code on 7/27/09 and it still worked!:
450 Minute Card 50 Min. 93018 unknown
These 2 promotional codes are expired:
60 Min. (or greater) 60 Min. 14938 1/31/09 7/8/09
60 Min. (or greater) 50 Min. 27076 unknown 7/8/09
14938 didn’t work for me on 7/27/09 (I used it once before)
Code 88063 sent to me by TracFone added 30 min to 60 min card
90 min total – Still a fair deal
From a reader as of July 26th:
Thanks for the codes. Just an update… The 450 min code 93018 WORKS. The 450 min code 69874 didn’t work. The 60 min code 27076 didn’t work. The 60 min code 14938 WORKS. Thanks.
84023 worked 7/29/09. I already have DMFL. Bought the 1 yr/400 minutes and received the1 yr/400 mins, my 400 dbl mins. plus 265 bonus – total 1065 minutes.
Yippee! I used your 60 Min. (or greater) 60 Min. 14938 and it worked beautifully. I have DMFL so I bought a 60 minute card at the tracfone site, used the code 14938 and got my regular DMFL 60 PLUS 60 more using the code.
That worked out to less than 12 cents per minute… I couldn’t even call long distance using Bell South for that low of a price.
Basically, 180 minutes + 90 days for around $20 is awesome IMHO.
I have a tracfone w376g with DMFL that I got at Walmart for under $30 and was able to pair it with a wireless bluetooth earpiece that cost under $20 at Amazon.
You gotta love Tracfone… no contracts, no monthly payments unless you want to and VERY affordable on the road or away from home cell access. Just wish they had an out of the country roaming plan, too.
I need DMFL Promo Codes PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Just used 14938 and have DFL and it just worked for me 7/31/09. Ended up getting 180 total minutes.
Thanks!
John
I just used 14938 (60 extra w/60min card) and it worked fine. I paid for the 60 min card, got 60 bonus mins + 60 with my DMFL card.I guess DMFL doesn’t include bonus minutes, but I’m not complaining.
Great site BTW! I have it bookmarked and use it EVERY time I purchase cards or phones.
used code
60 Min. (or greater) 60 Min. 14938 1/31/09 7/8/0
sucessfully
I used 45639 for 30 minutes on a 120 minute card and it worked on 8-6-09. Also I chose the option of an extra 60 minutes for $10 and because I have the dmfl it doubled that as well! So 390 minutes for $39.99! Thanks so much for this web site! I use it everytime!
Good for you! Something to think about thoough… You could have spent 39.99 on a 200 minute card and it would have doubled to 400 minutes. Then with a promotional code you would have recieved even more, for a better deal. That Is what I do each time I add minutes , because it is the best deal I can find. I usually end up with 460 minutes for 39.99. Don’t mean to burst your bubble, I am just saying…….
Oh wow! Thanks Alan! I will do that next time! Sometimes it is so overwhelming I get confused on how to end up with the best deal. Again thanks! No bubble bursting here, you just made a lot more bubbles!
used 14938 for 60 bonus on a 60 minute card on 8-7-09
