Need help again.....

Finally have a LG600 that I can make and receive calls. Wanted to try camera feature for the holidays( instruction booklet is no help)
Took a few pictures and tried sending them to my daughters phone, Contract ATT not prepaid. Next day asked if she received and she did not. My granddaughter who has a phone and is knowledgeable in sending photos by email to web sites etc. as most teenagers do tried... A message "service denied" appears.
I call service dept. and was told defective phone , would send a new one but they would have to transfer units and tel # and activate the new phone they were sending.. I would be with out service for a least a week. Not acceptable. I called Corp. HQ and was told maybe my daughters phone carrier would not accept photos from my carrier.. Now don't know who knows what they are talking about. Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to thank you again for your help in the past.

I don't know if anyone is still replying or posting on this page, but I have some serious problems. First of all, I am now offically locked out of my phone. I tried setting up my PIN2 code, but it wasted "attempts" trying to change the code. Now, the PIN2 is blocked, as I have to type in a PUK code. I tried taking out the battery, but as the phone started up, it asked for the PUK code. I try typing 0000, which brings me to the next screen asking for a new PIN code. I type in my new PIN, then type it in the Conformation screen, but then it says "PIN CODE NOT UNBLOCKED. Tries left: 9" It is like I wasted tries setting up my new code. I cannot call nor recieve calls other than Emergency calls. Anybody know how to help?
Now that that is said, I have also accidentally disabled my Prepaid (Net10) service. I went into Prepaid > Code Entry Mode and closed the phone. When I opened it, I realized that it disabled my service.
Anybody know any solutions? I need some serious help

Wow! I've had such a fiasco with Tracfone over switching to this phone! I had the Moto 370 and didn't like the fact that it would go dead without notice. No warning sound or anything! The warning light on it doesn't do any good if it's in a pocket or purse!! Dumb idea, Motorola!!

Anyway, I called Tracfone to have my numbers and minutes switched to the LG600's. The minutes transferred, but not the numbers! After a week of battling them over this, I resigned myself to accepting the numbers that came with the phones. After notifying every person I know with the new numbers, I went online to download a few ringtones. To my amazement, there were no mp3 ringtones available!! Now I'm totally pissed off!! I created a ringtone, Bluetoothed it to the phone, but can't get it to work. It shows that it's an ".aup" file in the phone, and it's saved in "My Stuff", and won't move to any other folder. Can someone tell my what type of ringtone files WILL work on this stupid phone??

CAB -
First make sure your contact list is saved to your SIM card, not your phone, on the old handset. Then remove the SIM card, use a SIM card reader to copy the contact list to your computer, then use the SIM card reader again to copy the list from your computer to the NEW SIM card.
Here's a link where I talked about this a little bit:

bonscott - thanks for the kind words
To answer your question, this type of problem with web access is common among web-enabled TracFones lately. To rectify it, I would suggest emailing Elston, who I posted about a few weeks ago. Here's a link to that post:

http://pbush14.wordpress.com/2009/08/30/tracphone-support/

And it could also have something to do with your SIM card - ATT SIMs seem to do data better than T-Mobile SIMs. Check out these posts for more info on that:

Awesome site! This review helped sell me on the LG 600G. Had it a couple weeks now, first time with Tracfone as well. Love Tracfone as it's perfect for me. I'm lucky if I use 20 minutes a month on my cell phone, just for emergencies or a quick "do we need milk" call.

My question is about accessing the web. Only thing that really interests me would be weather and maybe a radar image when traveling. When I try to access the web (via the web button or in the menu) I get a message that says "You are not authorized to access the Mobile Web Browser. For assistance please call our Customer Care Center".

So I take it that I actually need to contact support to get the browser to work or is it not possible to use the web on the phone?

Thanks!

Cindy - to see what games are available from TracFone, go to their site and click on "Buy phones and more" followed by "downloads and more." That will tell you what games you can get from TracFone for your particular model.

As far as the LG 600g specifically, I was able to download a java-based version of Tetris. That's all I tried. I downloaded the file from the web using my computer, then transferred the file to my phone using bluetooth. Next, I installed it by following the instructions on the phone after I opened the file from the phone. For reference, the game was a .jar file.

I don't have a lot of experience doing this, however, so I don't know much about how secure it is (or isn't). In other words, I don't know if you found a random game.jar file on the web, if you would be safe installing it on your phone. I don't know what kind of harm is possible.

I was hoping I could download games to my phone. Will the tracfone web enable me to do that. I called tracfone and they said I could, but after reading these reviews I'm wondering.
Is there a way to download games to the 600g or even the w376g?
