Thanks for all of the pics. They r really hard 2 find. Also, from looking at the pic of they package with the phone, I figured out that u get 3 texts per minute- not 2. That’s good 2 no!

Is it totally black? On the Tracfone website it looks like it has blue on the sides.

Is the graphics really bad according to the picture? I’m thinking about getting that phone but I’m not sure now because of the picture. Please get back to me soon. Thank you.

I’m not sure what you mean by “the graphics.” Could you explain a little more? I’ll do my best to answer your question, and write it into my upcoming review.

I just got this phone yesterday and I am sending it back today. I do not know if these phones are going to have a design issue but the numbers were falling off my phone after I started entering my contacts. The number 3 fell off. I taped it to the phone so it would not get lost. The number buttons are very small and kind of recessed. I had some trouble dialing a number with it. Its a nice looking phone but I will stick with a flip phone and not this slider.

Dozey – I have not had the same experience with my T301G after using it for nearly a week. I wonder if it was just a problem with your specific item, or if I should expect this to happen with mine as well?

well isn’t that nice! I’m getting the phone and I am very nervous of how it will turn out.

  7. 16 Chris Streeks April 16, 2009 at 9:42 am

Ahh I can’t wait for the review! I’m thinking about getting either the Samsung T301G or the LG 600G but I’m waiting to see if the Samsung has similar bluetooth capabilities. Here’s a question that hasn’t been asked yet though; Can I copy text messages off either the Samsung or the LG to my computer via bluetooth? Thanks!

I am with AT@T right now and was wondering if i put my sim card in this ohone would it work ok? and also hows the txting does it keep up with a fast texter?

    • 20 pbushx2 May 13, 2009 at 4:48 pm

All TracFones are programmed to accept only TracFone SIM cards, so this phone wouldn’t work if you’re an AT&T subscriber. You would need to be a TracFone user to use this phone. The texting is pretty fast, though.

I was wondering if the Samsung T301G can get ringtones from websites. Like phonezoo.com. please help this is going to make me either get it or not.

Can you please tell me if the buttons are bulky… It’s the only reason i’m hesitating to ask for my birthday in 1 mnth Please respond to me at Jakskylngtn@aol.com quickly!!

    • 25 pbushx2 July 22, 2009 at 1:33 pm

I’m not sure what you mean by “bulky,” but I like the buttons. They are hard plastic, raised very slightly – just enough that you can feel them under your thumb, but not enough that they trip you up when texting. they’re rounded a little at the corners, too, which keeps the pretty keypad smooth.

I have the Samsung T301G and would like to change the selection marked “browser” on bottom right section of the main page. I’d like to change it to “messages” or “contacts.” I have the manual that came with the phone and downloaded a manual from the internet. Neither is any help. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    John

Hey I was just wondering about the Bluetooth on this phone, can I link it with my pc? Can it use wifi so as to surf without using my minutes?

    Thanks

    • 28 pbushx2 October 2, 2009 at 6:49 pm

NOFACE – Unfortunately, the answer to both of your questions is “no.” The LG 600g for both TracFone and Net10, as well as the Net10 Motorola EM326g can be connected to a PC for file transfer, but no TracFone or Net10 models have WiFi.

hey i was wondering can you get ringtones off of websites like cellsea cause they have some really cool ones and if not is there any tracfones that can get ringtones from websites?

can I retrieve messages from land line ?
don’t see the setting to set password.
also can’t set # of rings before leaving msgs.

    • 31 pbushx2 October 14, 2009 at 9:23 am

Sue – once your voice mail is set up, you can access the voice mailbox from a landline phone. As for the number of rings, I”m not sure how to change that. I think it may be somewhere in the mailbox settings, if it’s available at all. I don’t think that’s the type of thing you can change from the phone.

I have had this phone for about 2 months and i have not had any problems what so ever. i have dropped this phone many times and it is still completely fine, besides some minors scratches. yes it is all black. i think it is a very good phone especially when you buy it now because of the double minutes for life.

I’m having trouble figuring out how to change the color settings. On the phone when something is highlighted it’s orange. I hate orange. Does anyone know how to change the color settings and what to do?

    Hi Larry
You can port your net10 number to TracFone. In fact, I’m just now completing a new blog post on this topic, and it will be up later today at pbush14.wordpress.com.
