As a followup to my earlier post about this phone, I'm not happy at all with the battery life of my W376g. My old V176 battery would last for 10 days on standby but this phone starts going dead after only 2 days. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend the W376g for this reason. If the LG 600g were offered in my zip code I would switch in a minute but it's not.

Rebecca,
I've successfully emailed photos from my old w376g to my email address in the past. If I recall correctly, you simply put in your email address instead of a phone number in the "to" field when sending a message. Try this post for tips:

i spent over an -1 hour- on the phone extracting answers one specific question at a time.(not a subject question was available) to just end up having to add codes to the phone and wait 24 hours to even try it. it was of course concerning the motorola w376g and pictures. the pictures can only be sent to another cell phone(that is supported) in a message that costs 1.5 units per minute! not to an e-mail address at all. this is all according to their operator at tracphone.
PLEASE HELP!!!
if you have any information for help in getting the pics out of the phone. can you take the sim card out and access the pics that way? any ideas? especially ones that worked?
thanx a lot
very frustrated

I have had the phone a short time and I'm disappointed with the camera and retrieving photos. I finally broke down and tried to send a photo via e-mail. The system deducted 1 minuet and failed to send the e-mail. So, I'm penalized for attempting to send something and the system failed to do it?

I think the internal antenna is not that good either. In some locations, my old Motorola with an external antenna shows three bars, while this new phone show one or none.

As for the deal, I saw that it was active till the end of the month. I didn't even think to research the photo retrieval on the phone before I bought it. Lesson learned.

Unfortunately TracFone yanked the deal from the site pretty quickly this time around. It very well may come back up soon, but I don't know when or for how long that might be.

I'm looking for the refurbished phone deal as well. I can't seem to find it. I know the phone works for my area because it is the phone I was using before I got the LG600. Does the deal expire?

I just ordered this phone today (06/15/09) from Tracfone.com and the coupon code 23444 for $3 off the purchase worked for me. They have free shipping on orders of 19.99 or more as well. Even though the coupon code takes the total to 16.99 you still get the free shipping (I chose the 3-day Fedex). With tax of 1.06 the total was 18.05. What a great deal! Plus the 60 minute card! This will be a welcome upgrade to my Moto V176. Thanks for the great blog!

I took advantage of a deal you wrote about last summer on the LG3280. It's been a great phone; I'm actually looking for an extra phone for the rest of the family to fight over!
